Sony’s PS3 Slim white slated to hit Japan with 160GB and 320GB HDD on July 29th
Sony's PS3 Slim is reportedly scheduled to hit Japan in new “Classic White” avatar on July 29th. It is said to ship in two configurations: 160GB and 320GB hard drive capacities, with the current black version and the new “Classic White” colour. The two configurations are apparently priced at $340 and $400 for the 160GB & 320GB models respectively. It is expected that Sony might follow the Japan's PS3 launch with the PAL & North American release in a short period and then across the rest of the globe. The PS3 launch is expected to get strong competition from Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Nintendo's Wii. Not to forget PS3's online gaming and multimedia capabilities including high-definition optical disc & Blu-ray disc support for the storage medium on the device. The PS3 definitely holds some impressive features up its sleeve!
