Hideo Kojima and PlayStation look to be working on new Silent Hill games

Rumours state that two games from the franchise have been scheduled

The games could even be PlayStation exclusives

Remember the fear you felt when playing through the terrifying demo called P.T? The twisting hallways, hypnotic gameplay was a breath of fresh air in a stale and overdone genre like horror. A reimagining of the seminal horror game, Silent Hill. P.T was a playable teaser for a rebooted version of the classic. The scares in P.T were genuine and truly creepy as you felt a sense of unease even after you put the game down. Well, you can thank Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro for that short masterpiece. But, be that as it may, the higher-ups at Konami decided that they did not want to make any more money so they cut ties with Kojima and literally scrapped all Silent Hills projects to try their luck on Pachinko machines.

But, as they say, time heals all wounds and Konami and Hideo Kojima have seemed to mended fences or are on their way there. Which is excellent news for gamers as two Silent Hills games could be in the works. It looks like Sony Computer Entertainment could even release the game as a PlayStation exclusive. In fact, the team at Project Siren could be taking the lead on one of the two games. Many veterans who worked o the first few games are also slated to return in what could be one of the biggest and scariest games to ever be made.

But, take this news with a pinch of salt, as these are only rumours at this point and no official announcement has been made. For more news on horror video games and gaming in general, stay tuned to Digit.in.
