But this might not be the best news for us as Microsoft is not planning to unveil the consoles in India right now.
Microsoft had unveiled its Xbox Series S/X consoles earlier this month. Now, the company has announced the release date for three new Xbox Series S/X console variants. The company will unveil these new gaming consoles on October 15 and on October 29 for other markets.

The new Xbox consoles will be rolled out across all regions where Xbox hardware is currently supported.
However, several key markets, including India, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Israel, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey, and the UAE, are not included in this initial release. Microsoft confirmed this in an Xbox Wire post. However, it did not disclose any plans to introduce these models in these excluded regions.
New Xbox X and S series price and availability
The pre-orders for all three variants are now open on the official Xbox website. The three new console variants are as follows:
- 1TB Xbox Series S: It comes in a classic Robot White colorway and is priced at $349.99/EUR 349.99 ERP. With this, you get upgraded storage options.
- 1TB Xbox Series X (All-Digital): This is a more affordable and disc-less version of the Xbox Series X. It is ideal for users who prefer to purchase games digitally. It is priced at $449.99/EUR 499.99 ERP.
- 2TB Xbox Series X Galaxy Black Special Edition: This is the more premium offering and features expanded 2TB storage. You get a new Galaxy Black colorway with this one along with a matching Xbox wireless controller. It is priced at $599.99/EUR 649.99 ERP.
Along with this, Microsoft also unveiled some Xbox accessibility devices, including the Xbox Adaptive Joystick, ByoWave’s Proteus controller, and 8BitDo’s Lite SE 2.4G wireless controller.
