“We just crossed the threshold of 10 years. 10 years of GTA 5… I just want to give a big shout-out to the fans. Only what, maybe five of those years was ‘where the f*** is GTA 6? Patience guys. It’ll be worth the wait. Trust me. GTA 5 was worth the wait, GTA 6 is gonna be even more worth the wait,” Luke said.

Earlier, it was reported that GTA VI might be unplayable to millions of players when the game launches as it is expected to skip support for last-gen consoles. It was also rumoured that GTA VI’s map will be bigger, and might also change and evolve over time, like in Fortnite. Famous Call of Duty leaker Tom Henderson had also predicted the 2024, or 2025 release for GTA VI in a YouTube video, which was later backed by Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier. Moreover, Rockstar had reportedly paused development on Red Dead Redemption and the GTA 4 remasters to dedicate more manpower to GTA 6.
