The wait for Panchayat season 5 may soon come to an end as director Deepak Kumar Mishra recently discussed the new season in an interview with India Today. Mishra revealed that the team is currently working on editing the upcoming season. He also suggested that the fifth season may be released around October or November.

Panchayat season 4 focused heavily on the Pradhan elections in Phulera. Manju Devi and Kranti Devi competed against each other for the position. The election results brought a major change to the village. Kranti Devi won the election and became the new Pradhan.
Meanwhile, Abhishek continued working as the village secretary. He was also thinking about his future and looking for better career options. He decided to prepare for the CAT exam while continuing his job in Phulera. By the end of the season, Abhishek managed to clear the CAT examination.
The new season may focus on Abhishek’s next move after clearing the CAT exam. One of the biggest questions is whether he will leave Phulera to pursue a new career. However, walking away from the village may not be simple for him. Over the years, Abhishek has formed close friendships and relationships there. His relationship with Rinki may also become an important part of the upcoming season.
With Kranti Devi as new Pradhan, viewers can also expect fresh conflicts and situations involving village politics.
