Skullcandy has introduced the Uproar TWS, a new pair of true wireless earbuds in India for users seeking bass-heavy sound and practical features at an affordable price. The company has positioned this as a lifestyle audio product. The Uproar TWS combines long battery life, stable connectivity, and a rugged build and is currently available for sub-Rs 2,500 and could compete with popular budget models from brands like OnePlus, boAt, and Realme.
SurveyPrice and availability
The Skullcandy Uproar TWS is priced at Rs 2,499 as part of a launch offer (MRP Rs 8,999). It is available in a Black Matte finish (model S2IWW-S031) through Amazon India, Skullcandy’s official website, and select retail partners.

Specifications and features
The 10 mm drivers are said to help deliver the typical Skullcandy sound signature: deep bass and punchy mids. The TWS supports Bluetooth 5.4 with multipoint pairing that may make switching between devices smoother. The quad-mic setup with Environmental Noise Cancellation is designed to reduce background noise, which could make calls easier to hear.
Battery life is claimed at up to 46 hours with the case, and the rapid charging through Type-C is rated to give around two hours of playback from just a 10-minute charge. With IPX4 resistance, the earbuds should handle sweat and light splashes, making them a possible option for workouts. Touch controls and a low-latency mode are also included, which could improve ease of use and gaming performance.

The Uproar TWS lacks Active Noise Cancellation, a feature that rivals in the same price bracket, like OnePlus Nord Buds 2 and Realme Buds Air 5, are now offering. Instead, it relies on software-based ENC for calls. IPX4 resistance is fine for everyday use, but not as strong as IPX5 or IP55, which are available on some alternatives. That said, the extended 46-hour battery life and Skullcandy’s sound profile could be compelling for those prioritising long-lasting performance over advanced features.
