Nothing’s sub-brand CMF has launched the CMF Headphone Pro in select markets. This is the company’s first pair of over-ear wireless headphones. The new model brings a vibrant design and features like active noise cancellation, hi-res audio certification, and extra-long battery life at a price point that targets buyers looking for value without giving up on premium features. Specifications and features
The CMF Headphone Pro comes with 40 mm dynamic drivers and supports a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. It weighs 283 g and houses a 720 mAh battery that charges fully in about two hours over USB-C. A five-minute charge delivers up to four hours of playback with ANC on at 50 percent volume. Nothing also claims you can get up to 100 hours of playback without ANC (AAC codec) and 38 hours with ANC enabled (LDAC codec).
Noise cancellation goes up to 40 dB, supported by five microphones for both ANC and calls. There’s also transparency mode and a three-mic setup for clearer voice capture.
Connectivity is handled through Bluetooth 5.4 with a 10 m range. The headphones support dual device connection, AAC, SBC, and LDAC codecs, and are hi-res certified for both wired and wireless playback. Pairing is simplified with Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair, while low-latency mode aims to make them suitable for gaming and video use.

Other features include IPX2 resistance, an LED charging status indicator, and a control system split between a roller dial for volume and playback, an Energy Slider for tuning bass and treble, and a customisable button for assistant or shortcut functions.
The headphones work with the Nothing X app, which allows EQ customisation, control remapping, firmware updates, and Find My Headphones.
In the box, buyers get the headphones, a carry pouch, a 3.5 mm audio cable, and basic documentation.
The CMF Headphone Pro introduces swappable ear cushions in different colours, which not only change the look but can also tweak the sound profile, something rare in this price segment. The Energy Slider and roller dial controls are also more unique compared to the button-heavy approach seen in most mid-range headphones.
Other highlights include 100 hours of playback, LDAC and hi-res certification.
But do note that 283 g, the CMF Headphone Pro is not the lightest, and the IPX2 rating only covers light splashes. Still, with the mix of features on offer, it looks well placed for buyers wanting premium functions at a sub-$100 price.
