Price and availability

The Powerbeats Fit is priced at Rs 24,900 and is available to order now from apple.com. Shipments begin 2 October. You can choose it in four colours: Jet Black, Gravel Grey, Spark Orange, and Power Pink.

Specifications and features

The Powerbeats Fit’s wingtips come in four sizes, one more than what you got with the Beats Fit Pro. Pick your preferred size and tuck the tips in for a secure fit. There are no over-the-ear hooks like on the Powerbeats Pro 2. The newcomers sport IPX4 sweat and water resistance on both the buds and the case.

Under the hood, they pack the same Apple H1 chip for seamless iOS integration with support for Hey Siri, Find My, Automatic Switching between connected devices, and Audio Sharing. The Powerbeats Fit also features proprietary drivers, Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), Transparency mode, personalised Spatial Audio with head tracking, and dual beamforming mics with noise reduction for clearer calls.

Android users can enjoy the Beats app with one-touch pairing, customizable controls, and Fit Test for ear tips.

The Powerbeats Fit claims longer battery life at up to 7 hours per charge, and 30 hours with the case (6 hours with ANC on). They support fast charging. A 5-minute charge is said to deliver 1 hour of playback.

So, the main upgrades over the Beats Fit Pro are the redesigned wingtips, which promise better flexibility and comfort without compromising stability, and a more compact case that makes the earbuds easier to carry. Both the earbuds and case are now sweat and water-resistant, unlike the earlier model, where only the earbuds were IPX4 rated. The new packaging also uses 100% plant-based recycled fibre, aligning with Apple’s sustainability goals.

At Rs 24,900, the Powerbeats Fit sits in the same premium bracket as Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 (around Rs 25,000 during non-sale periods), or the newer AirPods Pro 3, which are better suited for everyday use with a stem-based design and stronger ecosystem integration. Sony’s WF-1000XM5 (around Rs 22,000, again during non-sale times) remains a strong rival, offering reliable noise cancellation and rich sound, though with a less fitness-oriented fit.

So, Powerbeats Fit is clearly aimed at users prioritising stability during workouts and outdoor activities without compromising on sound quality.

Speaking on the launch, Oliver Schusser, Apple’s Vice President of Music, Sports, and Beats, said, ‘Powerbeats Fit combines the best of Beats Fit Pro with next-level comfort, durability, and portability.’
