Marvel’s Wolverine

Ever since Insomniac Games announced Marvel’s Wolverine, fans have been waiting to see what the studio has in store after the massive success of the Spider-Man games. Unlike the web-slinger, Wolverine is expected to offer a much darker and more mature story, focusing on Logan’s brutal fighting style and complex personality.

While Sony and Insomniac have remained tight-lipped about gameplay details, we know from the trailers that the game will come with an intense story combined with jaw-dropping combat. The game is set to launch on September 15 exclusively for the PS5.

GTA VI

GTA VI is an open-world game. But, the story here is also being widely anticipated. The game doesn’t really need an introduction as at this point, the hype for it is simply unreal.

Rockstar Games is taking players back to the neon-lit streets of Vice City, this time with two protagonists, Jason and Lucia. The story is expected to revolve around crime, relationships and survival as the duo navigate a dangerous criminal underworld.

Rockstar is known for creating unforgettable stories, and expectations are sky high for GTA VI. Along with its massive open world, the game is expected to feature the studio’s biggest and most detailed narrative yet.

God of War: Laufey

Just last month, Sony officially announced God of War: Laufey which puts the spotlight on Faye, also known as Laufey. For the unversed, the is Atreus’ mother and Kratos’ wife. The previous games only gave players glimpses of her life, leaving many questions unanswered.

So, the game centred around Laufey could explore events that took place before Kratos arrived in the Norse realm, giving players a fresh perspective on one of the franchise’s most important characters.

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis

Lara Croft is finally making her return, and this time the adventure is rumoured to revolve around the legendary lost city of Atlantis. While official details remain limited, the next Tomb Raider is expected to combine exploration, puzzle-solving and cinematic storytelling with modern gameplay mechanics.

Built using Unreal Engine 5, the game is expected to feature larger environments, improved visuals and a more experienced Lara Croft. For players who enjoy uncovering ancient mysteries and exploring forgotten ruins, this is one title worth keeping an eye on.

Fable

After years of silence, Fable is finally making a comeback. Developed by Playground Games, the reboot aims to bring back the humour, charm and fantasy that made the original series so popular, while introducing the franchise to a new generation of players.

Set in the magical world of Albion, Fable promises a story shaped by player choices, colourful characters and plenty of quirky moments. If Playground Games can successfully blend its open-world expertise with the series’ signature storytelling, Fable could become one of the biggest RPG releases in recent years.
