Moto Camera gets Google Photos integration with latest update

Motorola has rolled out an update to the Moto Camera that brings a new user interface and all Google Lens functionalities.

Motorola recently launched Moto Z3 Play in the international market with Google Lens integration, and now the comapny is bringing Lens to its other devices. The new update also brings full integration with Google Photos. According to a XDAdevelopers, photos taken with Moto camera modes will be marked in the Google Photos library.

Apart from the full Google Lens capabilities, the app will also get a user interface overhaul. Users now have to swipe left for sharing, editing and backup tools. 

As per the Google Play Store, the changelog says that the app will now have single finger up/down zoom, drag to focus with exposure UI, improved modes exit UI, combined front and rear camera settings UI, YouTube Live and some bug fixes and stability improvements.

As mentioned before, Lenovo recently added another Z series smartphone to its lineup with Moto Z3 Play. Same as all Z series of devices, the handset features pogo pins on the rear for attaching Moto Mods. The device’s highlights are dual rear cameras, a side mounted fingerprint scanner and an 18:9 display aspect ratio. It comes in a deep indigo colour variant and will be available with a battery mod in the US for $499 (Rs 33,500 approx). The india price and launch date of the Z3 Play is not known yet.

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, coupled with 4GB RAM and options of either 32GB or 64GB of expandable storage. It features a 6.01-inch Super AMOLED display with 2160 x 1080p resolution. In terms of optics, at the back is a dual rear camera setup – one 12MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture and another 5MP lens with depth-sensing capabilities. On the front is an 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture lens. The Moto Z3 Play is backed by a 3000mAh that supports fast charging.
