Acer's new smartphones - Liquid E700 and Liquid Jade – are here. Targeted at the budget segment, the new Acer phones will be competing in an already crowded budget smartphone market.
Acer has launched two new smartphones – Liquid E700 and Liquid Jade – in India. The new smartphones are priced at Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 16,999 respectively, and will be available via Snapdeal from tomorrow.
SurveyThe Acer Liquid E700 has a 5-inch 720p display. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is powered by 1.2GHz MediaTek MT6582 quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. It sports 8 MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash, and 2MP front facing camera with flash. It is powered by a 3500 mAh battery. Connectivity options include triple SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS.
The Acer Liquid Jade also has a 5-inch 720p IPS display. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is powered by 1.2GHz MediaTek MT6582 quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. It sports 13MP rear camera and 2MP front facing camera. It is powered by a 2100 mAh battery. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS.
Acer's Liquid E700 and Liquid Jade phones will be competing against a range of budget Android smartphones. The company recently launched Iconia A1-713, voice-calling Android tablet. The tab the tablet runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean (upgradable to Android 4.4) and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor along with 1GB of RAM. The tablet is priced at Rs. 12,999.
