What is the Samsung Flex Hybrid?
The Flex Hybrid is the name given to the concept prototype for future laptops. It has a folding technology applied to the left side of the screen, with the slideable technology being on the right. The smaller 10.5-inch display has an aspect ratio of 4:3 while the larger 12.4-inch display has a ratio of 16:10.
Samsung also showed off its new 17-inch large-screen slidable display at CES. These are displays that expand by sliding a hidden display outward. There are two products in this range, the Samsung Flex Slidable Duet and the Samsung Flex Slidable Solo – the former has displays that slide outward on both sides while the latter has a display that slides outward only on one side. Without opening it fully, the screen measures 13-14 inches, but can expand to 17 inches.
