BSNL has announced its Diwali Bonanza 2025, giving users access to BSNL’s 4G network for just Re 1 for the first month. The festive plan, available from October 15 to November 15, 2025, includes unlimited voice calls, daily 2GB data, and a free SIM card, making it one of the most affordable mobile plans in the country. Earlier, BSNL had launched a similar limited-time “Freedom Offer” rollout in August.

BSNL Re 1 plan: Benefits and validity
Under the Diwali Bonanza 2025, new BSNL users can get started with 4G services at just Rs 1. The plan includes unlimited voice calls across all networks, 2GB of high-speed data per day, and a complimentary SIM card, available post-KYC verification.
The plan comes with a 30-day validity, allowing users to experience BSNL’s upgraded 4G speeds before opting for a long-term prepaid or postpaid plan. Once the trial month ends, customers can transition to BSNL’s standard plans to continue enjoying uninterrupted service.
How to avail the BSNL Re 1 offer
To grab the BSNL Re 1 Diwali Bonanza, customers can visit their nearest BSNL Customer Service Centre (CSC) or any authorised retailer. After completing KYC, users can request the Diwali Bonanza SIM and start using 4G connectivity instantly.

Alongside the festive offer, BSNL has also introduced the Samman Plan for senior citizens aged 60 and above. Priced at Rs 1,812 for a full year, it includes unlimited calling, 2GB of daily data, and extended validity for a hassle-free experience.
The Samman Plan is available via BSNL’s website, Selfcare app, and authorised retailers until November 18, 2025.
