Fisher shared some insider information on the OnePlus Open that we wouldn’t officially hear until the day of the launch. Fisher mainly discussed durability and the crease of the smartphone in his post.

Okay, before we go ahead. You would agree with me that the biggest concern on foldable smartphones is the crease that comes on the screen. Well, if you’re one of those who get annoyed by the huge crease then OnePlus Open could be the smartphone of choice for you as we hear that it could come with a barely visible crease.

Even in the video shared by Fisher, the crease on the OnePlus Open is significantly shallower than most of its competitors. He further added that the number of parts that made up the hinge has come down from 100 to 69. It has a weight of just 13 grams because OnePlus has used lighter alloys.
