Vivo X500 Series India launch leaks: Chinese smartphone maker Vivo announced the Vivo X500 series in China on Monday. The series includes three models: Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Pro Max. The lineup serves as the successor to the Vivo X300 series, which also shipped with an Ultra model – the Vivo X300 Ultra.
Soon after a China release, the company is expected to launch these devices in India. Here is a roundup of the expected price, launch timeline and specifications you can expect when these handsets debut in India.

In India, the vanilla X500 is expected to debut with a 6.59-inch 144Hz AMOLED display. Under the hood, it will likely have a MediaTek Dimensity 9600M chip. The handset could get a massive 7,500mAh battery, a 50MP + 50MP + 64MP rear camera setup and a 50MP selfie lens.
As for the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max, the models will likely get 6.36-inch and 6.85-inch AMOLED displays. Under the hood, the handsets could sport the Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. For photography, the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max will sport a 50MP selfie lens, 50MP primary main and 50MP ultrawide sensor.
But both models are expected to have different periscope lenses and battery capacities. The X500 Pro could have a 3.5x 64MP (1/1.95-inch) telephoto lens and 6,510mAh battery, while the X500 Pro Max may get a 3.5x 200MP (1/1.4) sensor and 8,000mAh battery.
The three handsets could support 90W wired and 40W wireless charging and sport an IP69 rating. All devices will likely ship with OriginOS 7 based on Android 17. Plus, considering Vivo’s track record, additional telephoto extender lenses and photography kits might tag along.

The anticipated launch date of the Vivo X500 series in India could fall in October or early November. However, the Vivo X500 Pro might remain a China-exclusive device and may not launch alongside the X500 and X500 Pro Max, according to rumours and leaks.
The India price of the Vivo X500 could fall in the range of Rs 95,000-Rs 1,00,000. On the other hand, the top-end flagship model of the lineup, Vivo X500 Pro Max, could launch in the range of Rs 1,40,000-1,50,000.
