The foldable market in India will be getting a new addition soon with the launch of Vivo’s X Fold 6. The handset has recently made its home and global debut and is now all set to launch in the Indian market. While the company has not yet revealed anything about the device, the leaks and rumours are already shaping the opinions of the consumers about how the device may look and what it could offer. A tipster has also recently shared the pricing of the upcoming device, though it’s not official yet. According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the company could price the 12GB+512GB variant of the upcoming Vivo X Fold 6 at Rs 2,19,999. Earlier reports also suggest that the base variant of the device could cost around Rs 1,59,999. These are not the official pricing, and it may only be revealed at the time of launch.

While Vivo has not yet officially announced the launch date for the X Fold 6, the tipster Abhishek Yadav has previously pointed out that the company is planning to unveil the new device on October 6 alongside Vivo S2 FE and Vivo V80.
The Vivo X Fold 6 will likely land in the Indian market with a 6.51-inch AMOLED cover display paired with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Along with that, it may also sport an 8.02-inch AMOLED main panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Reports suggest that both the displays can reach a peak brightness of 5,000 nits when used outdoors.
The foldable device is also anticipated to feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 Super chipset, which is built on 3 nm technology. Other than that, the device is also tipped to get 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage options. Out of the box the device may run on OriginOS 7, a skin based on the latest Android 17.

Rummours also claim that the X Fold 6 may also house a 7,000 mAh battery that may get coupled with 80W wired and 40W wireless charging. The handset is said to come in two colour options, notably the Prism Black and Nebula Teal. Furthermore, to keep the device protected against water and dust, it may also have IP58 and IP59 certifications.
To please the camera enthusiasts, the device is said to come equipped with a 200MP main OIS sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. For selfies and video calls, it might also get a 20MP front sensor.
