Vivo has officially expanded the T series lineup in India with the new Vivo T5 Lite. The device is positioned in its budget 5G segment and offers an improved battery life along with durability and AI features. It offers military-grade durability certification, IP65 dust and water resistance, and several AI productivity tools. The vivo T5 Lite 44W 5G sports a 6.74-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits peak brightness. The panel also carries TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification for reduced eye strain. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset paired with up to 6GB RAM and 256GB storage. It runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and includes AI features such as AI Transcript Assist, AI Captions, AI Screen Translation, AI Creation, vivo DocMaster and Google Gemini integration. The phone also offers Private Space and Vivo Office Kit for additional productivity features. The device packs a 6,500mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge support.

For photos, the device offers a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary camera supported by AI-powered imaging features including AI UHD, AI Colour Adjustment and AI Cutout. A 5MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
