After much speculation, Vivo has finally introduced the T5 smartphone in India. The device is positioned in the mid-premium segment and focuses on performance, battery life and display quality, while also bringing a curved AMOLED panel and a relatively slim design. The Vivo T5 is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7500 Turbo processor and features a large 7,050mAh battery with 44W fast charging. Vivo T5 price in India and availability

The Vivo T5 has been launched in four variants. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 34,999, while the 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants cost Rs 39,999 and Rs 44,999, respectively. The top-end model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 49,999.

The smartphone will go on sale from September 9 via Flipkart, the Vivo India e-store and authorised retail stores. As part of the launch offers, buyers can get an instant discount of Rs 3,500 on the base variant and Rs 4,000 on the remaining models using eligible HDFC, SBI and Axis Bank cards.

Vivo T5 specs and features

The Vivo T5 features a 6.83-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and up to 2,000 nits of HBM brightness. It is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset, which includes a GenAI-ready NPU for on-device AI tasks. The device comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of storage. It also includes a large vapour chamber cooling system for thermal management during gaming and other demanding tasks. The phone packs a 7,050mAh battery with 44W fast charging support and is claimed to retain battery health for up to five years. It runs OriginOS 6 and will receive three Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates.

For photography, the Vivo T5 gets a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera. A 32MP camera handles selfies and video calls, while both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording.

Other features include dual stereo speakers, IP68 and IP69 ratings, AI-powered tools, a 7.99mm slim design, and Royal Bronze and Silver Green colour options.
