Samsung is currently gearing to host its next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22, where it will launch its next-generation of foldable devices. Every year, the company launches two foldables: a book-style foldable and a flip-style device. This year, the brand may change its strategy and launch three devices instead of two. The expected lineup includes: the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is rumoured to feature a wider, passport-like design. Meanwhile, the traditional book-style foldable is said to launch with the Ultra branding. Ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked event, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is available with a 7,000 discount online. Here is how you can grab this deal and what the phone offers.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 1,74,999. Vijay Sales is offering a Rs 7,000 bank discount while making the payment using select credit cards. To avail the discount, you can use an ICICI Bank, SBI Bank, HDFC Bank, BOB Card Bank or ONECARD Bank credit card.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 features a 6.5-inch outer display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and an 8-inch inner screen that also supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Furthermore, the foldable handset sports a 4,400mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
For photography, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 equips a triple rear camera setup, led by a 200MP primary camera, complemented by a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical and up to 30x digital zoom. For selfies and video calls, the device features a 10MP front-facing camera on both the cover and inner displays.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 comes with a thin and light design and offers dual AMOLED panels with 120Hz refresh rate. The phone runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which places it at the top spot in the foldable market. It also has a 200MP main camera, making it a good option. But if I talk about price, spending Rs 1,68,000 on a phone can be questionable. Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 8 next week, so the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s price can drop further. So, I would recommend waiting for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 launch or a big sale event if you want to purchase the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
