Samsung Galaxy S26 FE launch timeline and design leak

The device is rumoured to debut in September during IFA 2026 and may arrive with Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset and Android 17-based One UI 9.

Coming to the design part, a 32-second video shared on X by user Bradley (@VerdeSelvans) shows an alleged Galaxy S26 FE in a blue finish. The phone appears to have a flat rear panel, rounded corners and a flat display with relatively thin bezels.

The change in design is clearly visible on the rear panel. Samsung is reportedly moving to a vertical camera island housing three sensors, with the LED flash positioned alongside it. The arrangement resembles the camera design seen on the Galaxy S26, while the Galaxy S25 FE used individual camera rings.

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE specs and features

The leaked footage reportedly shows the phone running Android 17 with One UI 9. The software may include several Galaxy AI features, including Photo Assist and Document Scan. The device may also support Horizon Lock, a video feature designed to keep footage level while the phone is rotated during recording.

In terms of specs, the Galaxy S26 FE is tipped to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2500 processor, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

For cameras, the smartphone might feature a triple rear setup led by a 50MP primary sensor, along with a 12MP front camera. Other tipped specifications include a 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired charging and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
