The device will succeed the Galaxy M35, which is known for its value proposition in the sub-20,000 segment.

The Samsung Galaxy M36 5G is rumoured to feature a 6.74-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1080×2340 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 1500 nits. The handset is rumoured to ship with a 50MP triple rear camera setup with OIS and a 16MP sensor on the front. The handset may come equipped with an Exynos 1380 Octa-core processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable via an SD card.

Furthermore, the Galaxy M36 could pack a 6500mAh battery with 25W fast charging. It is expected to run on Android 15-based custom UI. Other leaked details include a Type C USB connector, NFC, and dual SIM support.
