Launched at a starting price of Rs 37,999, the company hiked the starting price by Rs 4,000 to jack up the pricing to Rs 41,999 in the country. Redmi Turbo 5 carries a starting price of Rs 40,999 (8GB + 256GB) during the sale. Buyers can avail Rs 2,000 off via the coupon discount and up to Rs 2,750 off via SBI credit and debit cards. This can effectively lower the price of the phone to Rs 36,249, which is even lower than its launch price. Do note the price is not inclusive of the additional fees that Amazon levies, such as marketplace fee, offer handling fee and more.

All the colours of the handset (Turbo White, Asphalt Black and Nitro Blue) are available at the time of writing this report. At the discounted price, the smartphone competes with the likes of the performance-focused Poco X8 Pro, camera-oriented Nothing Phone 4a and all-rounders like the Motorola Edge 70 Pro and more handsets.

Redmi Turbo 5 offers a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,500nits peak brightness. Under the hood, it offers a Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset and a Mali-G720 MC8 GPU. As for the software, it offers Xiaomi HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 out of the box.

Coming to the battery, it gets a 7,540mAh battery with 100W wired and 27W reverse wired charging support.
