Amazon has recently confirmed the launch date of the upcoming Redmi Note 17 Pro series. According to the dedicated microsite, the device will land in the Indian market on September 15, 2026.
Leaks and rumours point to the base variant of the upcoming Redmi Note 17 Pro, which may cost Rs 40,000, while the higher variant, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, may land with a starting price of around Rs 47,999.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro is anticipated to come with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, a 120 Hz refresh rate and 3,500 nits peak brightness. It’s also said to come with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
Under the hood, the device is expected to draw its power from the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, which may get paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage options.
Talking about the camera, the device may sport a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 supported with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. For selfies and video calls, you may also get to see a 16MP punch-hole front camera. The device is also tipped to come with a 9000 mAh battery, which, along with 67W wired charging support.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is rumoured to come with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset and might get paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. According to leaks, the device will run on Xiaomi HyperOS 3, which is an Android 16-based skin.
The handset is also expected to sport a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is also anticipated to reach a peak brightness of up to 3500 nits when used outdoors. To keep the device functional all day long, it may come packed with a 10,000 mAh battery.
