While the company has not shared much information about the upcoming model, they have recently confirmed that the Redmi Note 17 will launch in India on August 6. Moreover, they also made it clear that the smartphone will feature a massive 8,000mAh battery. According to the latest leaks, the upcoming Redmi Note 17 will be sporting a 7-inch OLED screen with the help of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 SoC. That’s not all, because the phone could also get a dual rear camera system and will likely ship with the HyperOS 3. The smartphone is rumoured to feature a 7-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. When used outdoors, it is expected to reach a peak brightness of 1800 nits. Rumours also point to the smartphone may draw its power from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset under the hood. Aside from that, it may get up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Out of the box the smartphone is said to run on HyperOS 3, which is a skin based on Android 16. Redmi has also confirmed that the device will house a massive 8,000mAh battery which may get paired with 45W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging.

Talking about the camera, the handset is said to boast a dual-camera setup at the back led by a 50MP primary camera. For selfies and video calls the device may come with an 8MP front-facing camera.
