Realme has announced the imminent launch of its new GT-series in India. Since 2022, the company has not launched any smartphones in the GT-series India. Now, the Realme GT-series is set to soon make its comeback in the country.

On X (formerly known as Twitter), Realme revealed its plans to introduce the sixth generation of the GT-series in India. Let’s delve into the specifics.

Realme also mentioned that the company sold 100 million smartphones in India in the last five years. Moreover, the company announced that it was among the top five brands in the country with 17.4 million sales last year. Realme also revealed that it achieved a milestone of 60 million global sales for the Number series, out of which 20% is from India.

“The GT is making a comeback, infused with ambition, attitude, and confidence,” the company said.

While Realme has yet to officially disclose the name of the forthcoming GT-series, it could be the Realme GT 6. We expect that Realme could reveal more details about the upcoming GT-series soon.

Let’s take a look at the specifications of the Realme GT 5 handset that was launched in China last year. The Realme GT 5 smartphone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. This device sports a 6.74-inch display with 144Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, it packs a 5240mAh battery with 150W charging support.

For photography, the Realme GT 5 houses a 50MP primary camera, and has a 16MP selfie shooter. This smartphone comes in two colour options: Quicksilver Mirror and Starry Oasis.
