Motorola is all set to launch the Razr 70 series in the global and Indian markets. While the company has not yet shared any details, recent leaks have painted a clear picture about the smartphone’s design and colours. According to leaked images, we can see new designs for the standard variant with green and grey colouring options with some unique texture. While the Ultra variant of the handset could sport some premium designs, such as the blue fabric-like back design and even a wooden back. Apart from that, both handsets will receive some upgrades in terms of display, performance, cameras, and battery size. Let’s take a look at what we know so far about the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra and Razr 70.
Tipster Evan Blass recently shared some images of the Motorola Razr 70 via its official X (formerly Twitter) account. The images showcased that the device may land with green and grey shades. Other than that, it also gives a feel that the smartphone might also sport a textured finish that will give it a distinct look. Leaked images also share that the Razr 70 Ultra can boast premium finishes, including a blue fabric style and a wooden back panel.
The Motorola Razr 70 is expected to come with a 6.9-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED screen inside that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. On the outside, it may have a 3.6-inch cover display with a 90Hz refresh rate and very bright output of up to 1,700 nits.
It may run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7450X processor, along with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone is likely to launch with Android 16 and Motorola’s Hello UI.
For battery, it could include a 4,800mAh unit with 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Camera setup may include two 50MP rear cameras and a 32MP front camera. It is also expected to have an IP48 rating for dust and water protection.
The Motorola Razr 70 Ultra may feature a larger 7.1-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED inner display with a very smooth 165Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 3000 nits. On the outside, it is expected to have a 4.0-inch pOLED cover screen, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
It is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip built on a 3nm process, paired with an Adreno 830 GPU. The phone may offer up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. It is expected to run Android 16 with Hello UI.
The battery could be 5,200mAh with 80W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. For cameras, it may include two 50MP rear lenses (one with OIS) and a 50MP front selfie camera.

Motorola is likely to launch the Razr 70 series worldwide on May 21. In India, it may come soon after, probably in late May or early June. Early reports suggest that the Motorola Razr 70 may launch with a price tag of Rs 66,000, while the Ultra model could cost around Rs 1,09,999.
