After the Edge 70 and Edge 70 Pro, Motorola is now set to introduce the Edge 70 Pro+ in the Indian market. As per the leaks, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ will sit between the Edge 70 Pro and the Signature smartphone. It will be offering a balanced mix of performance, camera upgrades, and premium design. This comes after a tipster on X shared information about the launch timeline, specs, and design. He stated that the device will offer a telephoto lens, wireless charging, and much more. Here is everything that we know so far.
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is expected to launch in India by the end of May 2026. While the company has not officially confirmed the timeline, multiple reports indicate that the announcement could happen within the next few weeks, followed by availability shortly after.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is said to offer a 6.8-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The device may be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset or a Snapdragon 8-series processor with up to 16GB RAM. The smartphone is also expected to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired charging support, along with wireless charging. It may also offer IP68 and IP69 ratings for durability and premium finishes like vegan leather and textured materials.
In terms of the camera, the device may get a dedicated telephoto lens for enhanced zoom capabilities, something which is missing from the Pro model. The setup may include a 50MP primary sensor (Sony LYT-710) along with a 50MP ultra-wide camera.
While the company has not confirmed the details about the specs and price, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is expected to start at around Rs 49,999 in India. The device may be available on Flipkart, Motorola e-store, and select retail channel partners. If true, the device may compete with the OnePlus 15R, Vivo V70 Elite, and others.
