Google teases Pixel 11 Pro Fold ahead of August 12 launch: From price to specs, here is what to expect

Google is currently gearing up to host its next Made by Google event next week. At the event, the tech giant will unveil its next-generation devices, including smartphones. The upcoming smartphone lineup is likely to include four models: the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Ahead of launch, Google has shared an official teaser of the upcoming foldable phone, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, with a caption that reads: “To switch phones, you have to be open to what’s new. And to what opens.” Below is everything we know so far about the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, including how much it may cost and what it could offer.

Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold launch date and expected price in India

Google will launch the Pixel 11 Pro Fold on August 12, alongside the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL. As for the pricing, the upcoming Pixel 11 Pro Fold is expected to be priced between Rs 1,72,999 and Rs 1,81,999. Do note that the price range is based on leaks and speculation.

Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold: Expected specifications

The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold is said to feature an 8-inch LTPO OLED inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The cover screen may be 6.4 inches with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the foldable phone could be the Tensor G6 chip, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. Furthermore, the phone may pack a 5,015mAh battery with 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

In terms of optics, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is expected to house a triple camera setup on the back, consisting of a 48MP primary camera, a 10.5MP ultra-wide lens and a 10.8MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. For selfies and videos, the phone is rumoured to sport dual 10MP cameras, one on the cover display and another on the folding display. The upcoming Pixel foldable is said to launch in two colours: Midnight Haze and Pine.
