CES 2015: HTC Desire 320 quad-core smartphone unveiled
HTC announces the budget Desire 320, with quad core processor and Android 4.4 OS.
HTC has unveiled an entry level smartphone – Desire 320 – at the CES 2015. The compay has not revealed the pricing of the smartphone, but added that the "UK availability will be announced in the near future."
The HTC Desire 320 is the successor to the Desire 310 smartphone launched last year and has similar specs. The Desire 320 has a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor with 512MB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with HTC Sense UI on top. The smartphone will also feature HTC Blinkfeed for combining content from news and social media sites to the smartphones home screen.
The Desire 320 smartphone sports on 5 MP rear camera with LED flash, and a VGA front camera. It has 4GB of inbuilt storage expandable via microSD card slot up to 32GB. Connectivity options included are 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi and Micro-USB. It packs a 2100mAh battery that according to the company delivers 12 hours of talk time on 3G and 690 hours standby. The HTC Desire 320 will be available in Vanilla White and Dark Grey colours.
