Apple is all set to launch its first foldable iPhone, which is reportedly known as the iPhone Ultra. According to MacWorld, the iOS 27 Beta 4 includes code strings which refer to the upcoming Apple iPhone Ultra featuring a multi-battery setup. Previously a regulatory filing also indicated that the device may feature a dual-battery setup with capacities of 1,921mAh and 2,962mAh.
When combined, the two batteries offer a total capacity of 4,883mAh, which is slightly larger than the anticipated 4,800mAh battery in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8.
Apple iPhone Ultra: Specs (Expected)
The Apple iPhone Ultra is anticipated to feature a 7.76-inch LTPO OLED main display with an adaptive refresh rate of 144 Hz. Alongside that, it would also come with a 5.49-inch LTPO OLED cover panel that would have a 120Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone will also house Apple’s A20 Pro chipset under the hood, clubbed with 12 GB RAM and up to 2 TB NVMe storage. Leaks point out that the upcoming model will ditch the Face ID and will roll back to the Touch ID, which will be side-mounted.
Talking about the camera, the iPhone Ultra is anticipated to come equipped with a dual-camera setup at the back that may include a 48 MP main camera complemented by a 48 MP ultrawide sensor. At the front the smartphone may sport a 18 MP camera on both the main and cover screens.
