Apple will finally open pre-orders for its first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, later today. The device was launched last month alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. It comes in four storage options, with prices starting at Rs 2,99,900 and going up to Rs 4,49,900. Interested buyers will be able to book the phone through Apple’s official online store, authorised retailers and other major online and offline platforms. While pre-orders will begin today, sales are scheduled to start on October 23. Here is a look at the pre-order time, prices, offers and other details.
The Apple iPhone Duo will be available for pre-order in India from 5:30 PM today, October 16. However, buyers will have to wait a little longer to purchase the phone from stores as it will officially go on sale from October 23.

Customers can pre-order the iPhone Duo through the Apple India online store. The phone will also be available for booking through authorised Apple retailers and other major online and offline stores.
To place an order through Apple’s website, visit the official Apple India online store and select the iPhone Duo. Choose your preferred colour and storage variant. You can then proceed to checkout and complete the pre-booking.
Apple is offering several benefits to customers who purchase the iPhone Duo through its online store in India. Buyers can get instant cashback of up to Rs 7,000 using eligible credit cards from partner banks. These include ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and American Express.
Customers can also use Apple’s Trade-In programme to exchange their existing device. Depending on the device and its condition, they can receive up to Rs 81,500 in exchange value. This amount can be used towards the purchase of the new iPhone.
Apple is also offering three months of free access to Apple Music, Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade with the purchase.
The iPhone Duo is Apple’s most expensive iPhone yet. The 256GB variant costs Rs 2,99,900. The 512GB model is priced at Rs 3,24,900, while the 1TB version costs Rs 3,74,900. Buyers looking for the highest storage option will have to pay Rs 4,49,900 for the 2TB variant.
The foldable iPhone comes in two colour options: Star White and Night Sky. Customers can choose between these colours and four storage variants when placing their pre-orders.
