Apple is set to launch its next-generation flagship models, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, in India and global markets soon. The Pro models are tipped to feature Apple’s new A20 Pro chip along with camera and display upgrades. While Apple has not confirmed the pricing, analyst reports and supply-chain sources offer some indication of what to expect. The upcoming models could be more expensive due to the ongoing memory-chip shortage. Early reports suggest that the base variant of the iPhone 18 Pro could cost around Rs 1.44 lakh in India, a notable jump over last year’s iPhone 17 Pro, which was priced at Rs 1,34,900.
If you’re in Dubai, you may have to spend around AED 5,799 to AED 5,999 depending on the storage variant you want to get. Meanwhile, it’s also reported that the iPhone 18 Pro could start at anywhere between $1,249 and $1,399 in the US market, up from $1,099 for the iPhone 17 Pro.
When it comes to the iPhone 18 Pro Max, the device is expected to launch in India with a price tag of around Rs 1.55 lakh, with some reports suggesting that the top storage variant could cost as much as Rs 1.70 lakh or more.
In Dubai, buyers could see a starting price somewhere between AED 6,199 and AED 6,399, while US consumers may have to spend between $1,349 and $1,499, up from $1,199 for the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The upcoming Apple iPhone 18 Pro series is rumoured to run on the new A20 Pro chip, which is said to be built on 2nm technology. The devices are also expected to house Apple’s in-house 5G modem. Both models are expected to ship with iOS 27, with a sharper focus on Apple’s AI features built in.
To please the camera enthusiasts, the smartphones are said to come with a triple camera setup at the back, including a 48MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide sensor and a 48MP periscope telephoto lens. For selfies and video calls, it may come with a 18MP front camera. Storage is tipped to go up to 2TB, while charging speed should stay around 40W.
