Apple announced today that because of the massive and unforseen demand iPad in the US, it is forced to delay international launch of the tablet device by 1 month, till the end of May.
Apple will be announcing a new exact launch date along with specific product pricing on Monday, May 10th. Apple said in its annoucement that while they “know that many international customers waiting to buy an iPad will be disappointed by this news”, Apple hopes the reason for it will “please” them, as the “the iPad is a runaway success in the US thus far”.
