Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026: South Korean tech giant Samsung announced the Samsung Galaxy S26 series in India in February this year. Months after launch, the smartphones have undergone a price hike due to the RAM and storage-induced crisis. However, what if we say you can buy the Samsung S26 Plus and S26 Ultra at a massive discount compared to their regular prices? The reduced pricing is now live on Amazon during the Great Indian Festival 2026 sale on the latest Samsung flagship.
For context, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra currently retails at a starting price of Rs 1,54,999 on Samsung India’s official website. On the other hand, the Galaxy S26 Plus retails for Rs 1,34,999. The Amazon sale could be the right time to get a Samsung flagship at a discounted price.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G is currently retailing for Rs 1,39,999 in the Great Indian Festival Sale 2026. Buyers can get an additional Rs 15,000 off via a coupon discount, bringing the effective price to Rs 1,24,999. Moreover, Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card holders can get an extra Rs 3,749 cashback, which can lower the price to Rs 1,21,250.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus is listed for Rs 1,14,999 on Amazon at the time of filing. Further, buyers can avail an extra Rs 10,000 off via a coupon discount to reduce the price to Rs 1,04,999. To ease the deal further, Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card users can get Rs 3,149 cashback, effectively lowering the price to Rs 1,01,850.
Display and Design: The Samsung S26 Ultra is a bigger phone of the two, with a 6.9-inch AMOLED display (compared to the S26 Plus’ 6.7-inch). Plus, the Ultra handset gets S Pen functionality and an anti-reflective coating with Privacy Display. However, it is also heavier than the Plus model at 214g (compared to 190g of the S26 Plus).
Processor: Another notable difference lies in the chipset. The Galaxy S26 Ultra gets a 3nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip, and the S26 Plus gets a 2nm Exynos 2600, Samsung’s in-house chipset.
Cameras: Speaking of optics, the S26 Ultra sports a quad-camera setup, compared to the S26 Plus’ triple cameras. The Ultra trim gets a 200MP OIS primary, 50MP ultrawide, 10MP 3x telephoto and 50MP 5x periscope rear cameras. In comparison, the S26 Plus sports a 50MP main + 12MP ultrawide + 10MP telephoto sensor on the back.
Price can be a key factor when making a decision on whether to buy the Galaxy S26 Ultra or the S26 Plus. Both phones have a price difference of Rs 20,000. If you have a tight budget but still want the latest Samsung flagship, the S26 Plus is a no-brainer. It is smaller and lighter than the S26 Ultra.
However, if you care more for the bigger screen, an anti-reflective coating, a flagship Snapdragon chip, S Pen and a more versatile camera setup, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra can be a good deal for Rs 20,000 extra.
