Microsoft’s gift for its business customers is here. The brand recently announced the arrival of its new Surface for business laptops powered by Intel as well as Snapdragon processors. While the laptops with the Intel chip are available for business customers already, the Snapdragon ones are set to arrive later this year. The new devices were announced via a blog post by Microsoft. The company said in a blog post, “We are proud to announce the next generation of the Surface for Business portfolio, the new Surface Pro for Business and Surface Laptop for Business powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors are available today in select markets, delivering world-class performance and AI on the edge to accelerate productivity.”

The recently-unveiled Surface Laptop for Business is available in 13-inch, 13.8-inch, and 15-inch screen size variants. The laptops are powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and support on-device AI features alongside Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.
Microsoft has also introduced a new integrated privacy screen on some selected Surface Laptop models. Unlike traditional privacy filters, this one is software-based and can be enabled instantly using a keyboard shortcut. The company says it is designed to help protect sensitive information from nearby viewers.
The company also says that the larger Surface Laptop models feature high-resolution touchscreens, advanced haptic touchpads, and up to 23 hours of claimed battery life.
For those looking for an even more premium experience, Microsoft has unveiled the new Surface Pro for Business. The new 13-inch model, just like its predecessor, comes with a 2-in-1 design and supports touch, voice, pen, and keyboard input. It also includes optional 5G connectivity for those who are working remotely or are usually on the move.
Microsoft also said in its blog post that the new Surface devices are built for AI-assisted tasks like real-time meeting transcription, intelligent writing tools, live translation, and on-device image generation.
Talking about the price, the new 13-inch Surface Laptop for Business starts at $1,499 (Rs 1,45,099) for the 16GB and 24GB variants. An 8GB version will launch later this year starting at $1,299.99 (Rs 1,25,835).
Meanwhile, the 13.8-inch and 15-inch Surface Laptop for Business models start at $1,949.99, which is around Rs 1,88,749. Coming to the Surface Pro for Business 13-inch, it also starts at the same price.
Microsoft says the new devices are available already in select markets through Surface for Business and authorised commercial resellers. There has been no word yet for India specific pricing or availability.
