Apple increased the prices of many of the products back in June, which also includes the MacBook Air M5. However, the device is currently available with a heavy discount on these e-commerce platforms. The Apple MacBook Air M5 with a 13-inch display debuted in the Indian market at a price of Rs 1,19,900. However, the Cupertino-based tech giant revised the price in June, increasing it to Rs 1,49,900. At the time of writing, the device is listed for Rs 1,39,490 on Vijay Sales’ official website.
In addition, buyers using ICICI Bank, SBI, Axis Bank, HSBC, Taj Bank, IDFC First Bank, or IndusInd Bank credit cards can avail of an extra Rs 10,000 discount, bringing the effective price down to Rs 1,29,490. Consumers can also opt for an additional one-year warranty at an extra cost.

Vijay Sales isn’t the only retailer offering a discount on the MacBook Air M5. Its competitor, Croma, is also listing the 13-inch model for Rs 1,39,490. Croma is offering a flat Rs 10,000 discount on purchases made using Axis Bank or SBI credit cards, bringing the effective price down further.
If you don’t want to pay the full amount upfront, then Croma is also offering an EMI option starting at Rs 6,566 per month. Additionally, customers can purchase AppleCare+ protection at an extra cost.

The Apple MacBook Air M5 features a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display with 500 nits of brightness. It is powered by Apple’s M5 chip, which includes a 10-core CPU, up to a 10-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine.
The laptop can be configured with up to 32GB of unified memory and up to 4TB of SSD storage. Apple claims the MacBook Air M5 can deliver up to 18 hours of video playback. It comes with a 53.8-watt-hour battery and supports fast charging.
For connectivity, the MacBook Air M5 gets two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a MagSafe 3 charging port, and Wi-Fi 7. It also supports connecting up to two external displays.
If the rumours are true, Apple may revisit the prices of its products again. However, it is not clear which devices might become more expensive because of the worldwide shortage of memory chips. Considering all these factors and the discount available now, the product looks like a good option.
