Samsung is all set to host its next Galaxy Unpacked event this week, where the tech giant will most likely unveil its new foldable devices. Every year, Samsung launches a book-style foldable and a flip-style phone. This year, the tech giant is expected to shake things up by introducing three foldables instead of two. The expected lineup includes: the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8. Do note that Samsung has not officially revealed anything about its plans yet. Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026 is scheduled for July 22 and will start at 6:30 PM IST. The event will be streamed live on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom and Samsung’s official YouTube channel.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event: What to expect

Samsung is said to introduce three foldables: the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to come with a wider, passport-like design. The traditional book-style form factor is likely to be launched with the Ultra branding.

Alongside the foldables, the tech giant is likely to introduce its new smartwatches, including Galaxy Watch 9. There is also speculation that Samsung’s upcoming Android XR glasses may make an appearance at Galaxy Unpacked.
