Apple recently concluded its first set of October 2026 launches under its “Welcome Home” showcase on October 13. Soon after announcing a series of smart home products, the Cupertino-based tech giant is reportedly gearing up for another set of product launches on October 27 via an online video presentation. This time, the company could shift its focus to MacBooks. Plus, the iPhone maker could also unveil an iPad mini and an iMac desktop. In this direction, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claims Apple is inviting media for an all-day product launch experience on October 28 in Los Angeles.
If the previous timeline remains intact, the products may be available to “some media” to experience a day after an official announcement. For more detailed context, here are the products you can expect Apple to announce on October 27.

The upcoming iPad mini from Apple is anticipated to get an OLED panel for the first time in the “mini” lineup. Under the hood, it may be powered by an A20 Pro processor. Plus, the tablet could also offer water resistance. The front-facing camera on the OLED iPad mini may shift to landscape orientation. Plus, it may offer enhanced speakers compared to the current iteration. As for the price, the upcoming iPad mini is expected to sit around $799 ($200 more than its predecessor).
Among the most important highlights of this MacBook Pro will be its OLED screen that may support touch-based interactions. Unlike the notch on the current MacBooks, the upcoming Pro model is expected to offer Dynamic Island, similar to iPhones. It is expected to run an updated macOS Golden Gate OS.
Under the hood, the devices may debut with M5 Pro and M5 Max chipsets. However, some reports claim the company may use newer 2nm M6 series chips. The MacBook Pro is expected to be lighter and thinner than the current iteration. It may debut in 14-inch and 16-inch trims.
The iMac computer is expected to debut in new colours with an updated M6 chipset. It will likely ship with a 24-inch screen. While Apple is developing an OLED version of this PC, the display may not arrive this time.
