4 improvements expected in upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro over Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet

There have been several reports claiming that Xiaomi will hold a launch event in China this month to unveil the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. In the same event, Xiaomi is also expected to reveal a new tablet. 

There has been some uncertainty regarding whether the upcoming tablet would be part of the Xiaomi Pad 6 lineup or potentially introduced as part of the Pad 7 series. However, an image reportedly discovered on Xiaomi’s global website indicates that the forthcoming tablet will be named the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro.

The image of the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro suggests that its design will be similar to the existing Pad 6 lineup, reports Gizmochina.

Let’s see how the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro tablet might be better than the Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet. For those who are unaware, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet in India last year.

Bigger display

The Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro tablet is expected to feature a 12.4-inch display. It will likely be an LCD panel offering a 144Hz refresh rate. 

On the other hand, the Xiaomi Pad 6 is equipped with an 11-inch display which also offers a refresh rate of 144Hz. 

So, the display size could see a huge improvement.

Better processor

The upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro tablet is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. 

The Xiaomi Pad 6 comes equipped with the Snapdragon 870 processor.

Large battery

There is speculation that the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro will likely pack a 10000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.

On the other hand, the Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet packs an 8840mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Better camera

The Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro is expected to feature a 50MP primary camera, and might come with a 20MP front camera.

The Xiaomi Pad 6 features a 13MP main camera, and has a 8MP front camera.
