Duke teases some more and new trailer for Brink released

Duke Nuken Forever Teaser

Look like Duke Nukem is at it again with a Facebook update titled “Duke Nukem doesn’t stay down for long”, accompanied by a picture captioned “D-Day [sic] Pics”. This ensures that Duke Nukem Forever [DNF] retains its reputation for perhaps being the longest running project in the history of gaming history, since it was first announced way back in 1997. It seemed like the ghost of Duke Nukem would finally be put to rest, when 3D Realms announced that they had let go of DNF’s entire development staff due to lack of funding. However, 3D Realms maintains that they have “…not closed and is not closing. 3DR retains ownership of the Duke Nukem franchise”.

In other news, Splash Damage has released new footage of their upcoming shooter called Brink. This new video was released through G4 and it concludes with a new launch target of fall 2010 on the PC, PS3 and the Xbox 360. This new video shows-off the game’s unique and interesting new traversing feature called S.M.A.R.T (Smooth Movement Across Random Terrain)
