The upcoming season is expected to explore the Alabasta storyline from the original manga and anime. In this arc, Luffy and his crew travel to the kingdom of Alabasta, which is facing growing political tension. A major character in this storyline is Nefertari Vivi, the princess of Alabasta. She asks Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates for help as she tries to save her kingdom. The main villain will be Crocodile, a dangerous pirate secretly creating trouble.
One Piece season 3 is confirmed to introduce new faces. Xolo Mariduena is set to play Portgas D. Ace, while Cole Escola will play theatrical assassin Bon Clay.
