Twitter multimedia tweet feature is rolling out on Android and iOS: Here is how it works
HIGHLIGHTS

Twitter is releasing the multimedia tweet feature to all users.

It will be available on both iOS and Android. Ensure you have the latest version of the Twitter app.

Here, we will see some examples of the new Twitter feature.

A lot is happening on and around Twitter these days. However, this new feature is likely to prove more useful to its users than all the business and legal mess the platform is currently going through. Yes, we are referring to the new option to post multimedia content on Twitter. Differently put, you will soon get to post text, photos, videos, and GIFs — all as part of a tweet. Here’s how that works.

How to send multimedia tweets on Twitter

All you need to do is:

1. In the tweet composer, type the text and then tap on the photo icon.

2. Choose the media you want to post. This could be photos, GIFs, and videos.

3. Depending on the number of content, your selections will either appear side by side or in a grid.

When everything seems ready, hit the send button. The new multimedia tweet will be posted.

Now what we don’t know for sure is if these multimedia tweets if shared on other platforms, will show up as we intend. It doesn’t seem to be the case when tried it.
