Google’s Pixel 11 lineup in India consists of four phones starting with the Pixel 11 at Rs 89,999, the Pixel 11 Pro at Rs 1,19,999, the Pixel 11 Pro XL at Rs 1,34,999 and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold at Rs 1,86,999. The gap between the most affordable and most expensive Pixel 11 phone is nearly Rs 1 lakh and the choice is not as simple as paying more for a better version of the same phone. Each model in the Pixel 11 lineup brings different set of trade-offs.

The Pixel 11 is the right choice if the core Pixel proposition: clean Android, reliable camera, on-device Gemini AI, matters more to you than hardware supremacy. It shares the Tensor G6 chip and Titan M3 security with the Pro models, runs the same version of Android 17, gets the same seven years of OS updates and supports the same 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging as the Pro range. In fact, all Gemini feature works the same way.
However, the main camera is a 48MP sensor versus the Pro’s 50MP and the real difference shows in the auxiliary cameras. The ultrawide on the Pixel 11 is 13 MP; on the Pro it is 48 MP with a 1/2.51-inch sensor. The telephoto on the Pixel 11 is 10.8 MP with a 1/3.2-inch sensor; on the Pro it is 48 MP with a 1/1.95-inch sensor. Most visibly, the selfie camera is 10.5 MP on the Pixel 11 versus 42 MP with autofocus on the Pro. So, if you primarily use Instagram, video call frequently or shoot many portrait selfies, these differences are tangible.
The Pixel 11 also has a slightly larger battery at 4,985 mAh versus the Pro’s 4,850 mAh, and weighs 7g less. If neither camera system nor display quality is a priority and the Rs 30,000 saving matters, Pixel 11 is the one to go for.
The Pixel 11 Pro is the right choice for the majority of buyers who want the best all-round Pixel camera experience. The 48MP telephoto with a 1/1.95-inch sensor, 120x zoom, 42MP selfie camera and 8K on-device video recording via Video Boost are the Pro’s defining advantages over the standard model. Google claims the Night Sight is 4.5 times faster than on the previous generation and the portrait Mode at 5x focal length is a Pro-exclusive. The Creator Suite with its integrated teleprompter and Storyboard editing, is also exclusive to Pro models.
The display is also a step up and reaches 3,600 nits versus 3,000 nits, carries double the scratch resistance, supports a higher resolution, 495 PPI versus 422 PPI and runs 1 to 120Hz LTPO versus the base model’s 60 to 120Hz range. In addition, the Wi-Fi 7 replaces Wi-Fi 6E.
One consideration specific to the Pro is that the 256GB configuration ships with 12GB of RAM while the 512GB configuration has 16GB. If you intend to run local Gemini models heavily or multitask across memory-intensive apps, the Pixel 11 Pro 512GB variant at Rs 1,34,999 may be the better option to buy.
The Pixel 11 Pro XL is the Pro with a larger 6.8-inch display, a bigger battery and faster wired charging, but the camera system remains identical. At Rs 1,34,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant, it costs Rs 15,000 more than the equivalent Pro.
The battery gain is real: 5,115 mAh versus 4,850 mAh and the XL charges to 75% in 30 minutes at 45W versus 55% in 30 minutes at 30W for the Pro. This is something that matters for heavy users who regularly run their phones down before the end of the day. The trade-off is 22g of extra weight (226g versus 204g) and a phone that is meaningfully wider in the hand.
If you have used a large-screen phone before and prefer it, the Pixel 11 Pro XL is the right call. If you are neutral on screen size, we recommend you save Rs 15,000 and buy the Pro.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold at Rs 1,86,999 is not a more capable Pixel 11 Pro in a foldable body. It is a different kind of device with a different set of advantages and of course, compromises. The inner 8-inch display is excellent for multitasking, reading and productivity across two screens, and the 6.5-inch cover screen is usable as a regular phone. It is nearly 1mm thinner and around 10% lighter than its predecessor, with a new gearless hinge and ceramic outer glass.
On cameras, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold’s camera hardware is closer to the Pixel 11’s camera hardware than the Pixel 11 Pro’s. It features a 48MP main sensor, 10.5MP ultrawide and 10.8MP telephoto, all of which are good enough but if you are buying a Pixel 11 Pro Fold primarily for photography, you are paying significantly more for a less capable camera.
If you are buying it because you want the split-screen multitasking, Bubble Anything and the foldable experience, it is the only Pixel that delivers that.
Buy the Pixel 11 if the Pixel experience matters more than top-tier cameras and Rs 30,000 matters. Buy the Pixel 11 Pro if cameras are your priority. Buy the Pixel 11 Pro XL if you want the Pro in a larger format with more battery. Buy the Pixel 11 Pro Fold only if the foldable form factor is the specific reason you are in the market.
