Garmin has introduced the Cirqa Smart Band that offers screen-free wearable focused on health, sleep and fitness tracking. The new tracker skips the display to offer continuous monitoring without the distractions associated with a smartwatch. It tracks metrics such as heart rate, blood oxygen, stress, sleep, skin temperature and recovery, while Garmin’s Body Battery feature provides insights into energy levels. The Cirqa Smart Band features a fibre-reinforced polymer case, a Fabric ComfortFit band and 5ATM water resistance. Garmin says it can last for up to 10 days on a single charge, although enabling continuous sleep SpO2 tracking reduces the claimed endurance to around 5.5 days. The device uses Garmin’s proprietary charging connector and takes roughly 90 minutes to fully charge.
For health tracking, the Cirqa continuously monitors heart rate and can issue high- and low-heart-rate alerts. It also includes Garmin’s Body Battery feature, stress tracking, Pulse Ox for blood oxygen measurements, HRV Status and skin-temperature monitoring. Women’s health features such as menstrual cycle and pregnancy tracking are also supported.
Sleep tracking includes Sleep Score, sleep-stage analysis, Sleep Coach and Sleep Alignment, while additional recovery features include Health Status, Breathing Variations and a Smart Wake Alarm.
For workouts, the Cirqa can automatically recognise activities such as walking and running, while more than 80 sports profiles are available for manual tracking. These include running, cycling, swimming, hiking, yoga, Pilates, strength training, HIIT and racket sports.
The band connects to Android and iOS devices through Garmin Connect and uses the smartphone’s GPS for outdoor activity tracking. It also supports LiveTrack location sharing.
The Garmin Cirqa Smart Band is priced at Rs 29,990 in India. As part of a limited-period launch offer, Garmin is selling it for Rs 25,990. It is available in Small/Medium and Large/Extra Large sizes, with the smaller variant supporting wrists measuring 120–200mm and the larger version fitting 145–240mm wrists.
The wearable is available in multiple colours, including Mauve, French Grey, Black and Captain Blue, depending on the size. It can be purchased through the Garmin India website.
