Airtel cheapest prepaid recharge plans under 400 with unlimited 5G data and calls
Bharti Airtel has quietly removed four of its prepaid recharge plans from its lineup across India. The eliminated plans were priced at Rs 299, Rs 579, Rs 619 and Rs 649, and they can no longer be found on Airtel’s website or Airtel Thanks app. The cheapest recharge plan now starts at Rs 349, which is a good plan for the users looking for unlimited calls and daily data. Aside from that, Airtel has also increased the price of its existing Rs 859 plan to Rs 899. Airtel has not released any formal statement explaining the removal of the prepaid plans, leaving many users to discover the change only when they try to recharge.
Airtel’s Rs 299 prepaid plan was widely used by customers who wanted an affordable option with basic daily data and unlimited calling. With the plan, the consumers get 28 days of validity and 1GB of high-speed data every day.
Not only that but the Rs 579, Rs 619 and Rs 649 plans were also quietly removed by the telecom giant. These were some of the most popular mid-range plans which used to offer longer validity. Some of these plans were widely preferred by the users who wanted a longer validity without moving up to yearly packs. Reports first surfaced from certain telecom circles before spreading to other regions, suggesting a gradual national rollout rather than a single announcement.

Beyond calls and data, the plan carries a few added perks. Users get six months of Apple Music, a year of Adobe Express Premium and access to Airtel Hello Tunes. For users who use their phones mainly for calls and light data use, the extra cost may feel like a step up, but the added benefits could balance things out for those who consume more content.
