Vivo launched the Vivo S2 FE in India last week, alongside the V80 and X Fold 6. Priced at Rs 38,999, the Vivo S2 FE comes with a 6.83-inch display, a MediaTek Dimensity chip, a 10,000 mAh battery and much more. The phone goes head-to-head with Redmi Note 17 Pro and Samsung Galaxy A27, which were launched earlier this year and have a similar price tag. So, how do the Vivo S2 FE, Redmi Note 17 Pro and Samsung Galaxy A27 differ from each other on paper? Here is a quick comparison of these phones.
The Vivo S2 FE features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 2,000 nits HBM. For comparison, the Redmi Note 17 Pro has a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 3,500 nits of peak brightness. The Samsung Galaxy A27 sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,400 nits of peak brightness.
Under the hood, the Vivo S2 FE is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset, and is backed by a 10,000 mAh battery with 44W charging support. For comparison, the Redmi Note 17 Pro runs on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, and packs a 9,000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The Samsung Galaxy A27, on the other hand, equips the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset and packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
For photography, the Vivo S2 FE sports a dual camera setup on the back, which consists of a 50MP main lens and a 2MP bokeh sensor. On the front, the device has a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 17 Pro features a dual rear camera setup, which consists of a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 16MP camera on the front.
The Samsung Galaxy A27, on the other hand, has a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 5MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, it has a 12MP camera on the front.
