Samsung is reportedly preparing to launch its next generation of foldables- the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and the Galaxy Z Flip 8- later this year. While the tech giant has not announced anything yet, there are a lot of leaks and rumours that give us a fair idea at what we can expect from the Galaxy Z Fold 8. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold is rumoured to be launched on July 22, 2026, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 8. As for the pricing, the upcoming book-style foldable device is expected to cost around Rs 1,74,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage base variant. The 512GB variant could cost around Rs 1,86,999. Meanwhile, the top 1TB variant is rumoured to be priced at around Rs 2,16,999.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8: Specifications and features (Expected)

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Furthermore, the book-style foldable could pack a 5,000mAh battery, which would be an upgrade over the 4,400mAh battery found in the current model. Faster 45W wired charging support is also speculated.

Speaking of the display, there could be an 8-inch main screen and a 6.5-inch outer screen. Both displays are expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate.

For photography, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is said to feature a rear camera setup on the back, which may consist of a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 10MP telephoto lens with a 3x optical zoom. On the front, there could be a 10MP camera for selfies and video calls.
