After months of leaks and rumours, Samsung has officially announced when it will host its next Galaxy Unpacked event. At the event, which is scheduled for later this month, the tech giant will most likely unveil its next generation of foldables. Every year, Samsung launches two models: the book style foldable and flip-style phone. This year, the company is expected to change that strategy by launching three foldables instead of two. Announcing the date of the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung said that the “next generation of Galaxy devices are set to deliver more personal and adaptive experiences and set a new standard for the AI era.” Below is everything you need to know about the Galaxy Unpacked event, including date, time and what you can expect.
Samsung is set to host its next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22 at 9 AM EDT, which converts to 6:30 PM IST in India. The event will be streamed live on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom and Samsung’s official YouTube channel.
At the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung is expected to unveil three foldables: the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 will come with a wider, passport-like shape. Meanwhile, the traditional book-style foldable will be launched with the Ultra branding.
Alongside the new foldable devices, Samsung is also expected to unveil new smartwatches, including Galaxy Watch 9. There is also a possibility that Samsung’s upcoming Android XR glasses make an appearance at Galaxy Unpacked.
