The Chinese smartphone company has finally launched its latest mid-range smartphone, dubbed the Realme 16, in the Indian market. This is in addition to the previously launched Realme 16 Pro and the Realme 16 Pro Plus. This device boasts a new design, better performance, display, and battery. The device also features IP69 ratings for water resistance. The device also includes a big 7,000 mAh battery and MediaTek’s Dimensity 6400 Turbo processor. The Realme 16 comes with a 6.57-inch AMOLED display clubbed with up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The company also claims that the smartphone can reach a peak brightness of 4200 nits when used under direct sunlight. It also bags IP69 certification to keep the device protected against water and dust.

Under the hood it draws its power from MediaTek’s Dimensity 6400 Turbo SoC and comes with an 8-core CPU. It also sports up to 12GB of RAM and 356GB of internal storage. The device also packs a 7,000mAH battery while maintaining a sleek design. Furthermore, the Realme 16 supports 60W of fast charging.
In terms of optics, the smartphone comes equipped with a Sony IMX 852 50MP rear camera and a 50MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Out of the box, the device will run on Realme UI 7.0, which is an Android 16-based skin.

The Realme 16 is priced at Rs 31,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, while the 8GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs 33,999. The higher-end model of the device, which features 12GB + 256GB, is priced at Rs 36,999. Customers can enjoy a bank offer of Rs 2,000 and an exchange value of up to Rs 6,000 on the trade-in of their old device. Pre-bookings for the device are starting today, and the device will be available on the company’s e-store, retail stores, and other channels.
