Oppo is reportedly working on a device that will come with a wide foam factor, much like the current iPhone Duo. While the company has not yet officially announced anything, at the time of writing, the leaks and rumours about the device are already painting a clear picture about how the device may look. A tipster by the name of Digital Chat Station has also recently shared details about the upcoming device in the Chinese microblogging website. If the rumours are to be trusted, then the device may become the next addition to the Oppo Reno series with the name tag Oppo Reno X. Here is everything we currently have on the upcoming Oppo Wide device.
According to the details shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav citing Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Oppo Wide device will come with a 6.35-inch 8T LTPO flat display. The device is said to come in a 16:9 ratio with 2560 × 1440 resolutions. The device is also tipped to come with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

The smartphone is said to draw its power from MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600M chipset under the hood. In terms of camera, the device may come equipped with a 200MP primary lens with OIS along with a 50MP ultrawide sensor and a 200MP periscope sensor at the rear end of the device. The recently surfaced details also claim that the device may bag an 8,000 mAh cell.
Previous leaks suggested that the handset may get dual stereo speakers, an ultrasonic fingerprint reader and a vapour cooling chamber. Furthermore, rumours claim that out of the box it will run on Android 17-based ColorOS.

Oppo has not yet officially announced anything related to the launch of the upcoming Oppo Reno X, but the reports claim that the smartphone could make its debut in the home market next year. The Indian debut of the device remains uncertain at the time of writing. However, if the company decides to go ahead with the Indian launch, then the consumers can expect it to arrive a few months later than the China launch.
Early reports indicate that the device could land with a price tag somewhere between Rs 80,000 and Rs 1 lakh. These are just speculations, and the official price will only be revealed at the time of launch and may differ from the current speculations.
